Picnic, 2002

Picnic, 2002

The first annual company picnic is held at the Lovelace Crossroads house and production office. All artisans, employees, and community friends bring family and loved-ones, lawn chairs, quilts, and a covered dish for a shared meal. This “dinner on the ground,” as it is called, is the first of many picnic gatherings that celebrate the bonds and relationships between the Project Alabama, the artisans, and the local community.

This gathering eventually becomes Alabama Adventure Weekend (entry coming soon).
