Alabama State Council on the Arts, 2005

Natalie is awarded her first Design Fellowship Award by the Alabama State Council on the Arts as part of the Individual Artist Fellowship Program. The Council’s goals are to support excellence and professionalism in the arts, increase public awareness and appreciation of artists, and promote diverse cultural artistic expression. These funds are utilized to stage an exhibition of photographs documenting her work with Project Alabama and the artisans of The Shoals community. The exhibition begins at the Cheekwood Museum in Nashville, Tennessee and travels to a variety of locations over the course of the next year.

In 2016, Natalie is awarded a second Design Fellowship Award that is used to explore the creative process in artists and designers across many disciplines.
