Alabama Stitch Book publishes in the spring of 2008. Focusing on the use of recycled t-shirts as the basis for a collection of 20 projects, the publication is the first in what is to become the Studio Book Series. The book open sources, for private use, the Swing Skirt, Corset, and Shawl patterns, three of the most popular patterns in the history of Project Alabama and Alabama Chanin. Additionally, the Stitch Book includes four stencil designs—Bloomers, Rose, Rooster, and Lace Stripe—plus Natalie’s famous biscuit recipe, and stories about cotton and community.
In 2018, Alabama Stitch Book celebrates 10 years of publication with an updated cover and introduction.
